Lars Eugster

Lars may be by far the most awesome and experienced skateboard intsructor on the planet, but he could easily be one of our tricking or snowboard instructors as well!  A multi-talented athlete, Lars has been skateboarding since 1985, was a snowboard intsructor in Flims/Laax/Falera 1998/99, has been training in Capoeira since 1999 and has been Tricking since 2004.  AND.... he's a really awesome DJ!

But let's just focus on his awesome riding here for now. Lars has been skating for over 26 years. His expertise is in street and bowl/pool riding. It's what he loves most and this is where his passion lies. He is a Team Rider for Doodah SG.  Lars also has a vast background and expereince in competetion riding.  He continues to compete in the over 30's categories with his old mates. Well known in the Swiss scene he has always pushed for new osbstacles and improvisation.  And like most of our instructors.. he spends all his free time perfecting his talent and having a blast on his board!

Now let's move to his extensive experience with kids...Lars has been teaching kids to skate since 1993. He has taught some of the best junior riders on the circuit such as 15 year old Swiss Junior Masters Champ and Doodah team rider Fabio Martin. Fabio also placed 3rd in the uncategorized European wide "Vans off the Bowl"! Lars is committed to working with youth and sharing his love of skating. We see that in all the organizations he is involved with. He not only teaches privately, he runs workshops for us, also for gorilla.ch, is involved with the Jugendnetwerkz (Herrbrugg) and works with the Jugensekretariat in St Gallen. All these organizations are Swiss youth organizations offering programs in various urban sports mainly for teens. We think Lars could not be a more perfect fit for our camps... expertise combined with a love and history of working with kids!
